We are hosting more workshops this semester that focus on building a variety of plush robots. These workshops provide fun, collaborative environments for girls to learn about computing, while making friends, who share their creative vision and passions in tech. USC and local high school students also mentor the girls during the workshops and serve as role models for how to continue their interests in computing.
Each girl creates their own adorable plush interactive robot, while learning basic computing principles and experimenting with 3D printing, batteries, sensors, buzzers and LEDs. For girls, ages 8+, No prior experience needed.
At the December 6th workshop we will create adorable, red nosed Reindeer robots with light up faces and a recordable holiday greeting designed by you.
