What was the demo: Pleo stock behavior
What did they say: “This is cool!” When asked if they would like it if the robot could talk to them, they said “no.” They also remarked that the robot had “bit” them.
What did they do: They played with petting Pleo, tried to feed him the leaf, and liked to have the robot “bite” them.
What did I do: Observed and asked the question if they would like it if Pleo could talk.
What you think about their emotional state (happy, angry, scared, and why we think that): They were very excited and energetic, based on the high pitched squeals they made when playing with Pleo and fast movements.
Duration: They played for 10 minutes and then got bored and walked away. They came back about 5 minutes later and wanted to play more but Pleo was already dissembled.

What did I do: Observed, and showed her how to pet the robot on the head and back.
What you think about their emotional state (happy, angry, scared, and why we think that): Excited and engaged based on her posture and number of times she initiated contact with Pleo.
Duration: She played for 6 minutes and then decided they wanted to watch TV instead.
